Editor-in-Chief, VISIONS – International Journal of Social Sciences

It is my great privilege to welcome you to VISIONS – International Journal of Social Sciences. Since our founding in 2004, our journal has stood as a bridge between regional research and global academic discourse. As Editor-in-Chief, my primary mission is to ensure that VISIONS continues to serve as an active representative for scholars and critical thinkers, driven by a steadfast commitment to investigate the essential challenges of modern society and to seek practical solutions grounded in rigorous scientific theory.

We remain deeply committed to our core mission: promoting the citizen as an active and empowered subject within educational, social, political, and economic systems. Through an interdisciplinary approach integrating education, sociology, economics, and law and politics, we advocate for the development of informed citizenship, social responsibility, and inclusive participation in all forms of societal organization. We believe that a strong political culture, supported by quality education, sociological understanding, economic awareness, and respect for legal and institutional frameworks, represents a fundamental prerequisite for sustainable democracy, social cohesion, and legitimacy at both regional and international levels.

In today's rapidly evolving world, it is vital to balance our democratic, national, and cultural values with global scientific and social standards. VISIONS serves as a catalyst for this balance, providing a space for the democratic articulation of diverse political, economic, social, and cultural interests. Through shared social practice, these ideas become functional tools for ongoing democracy building.

By fostering a competitive academic environment, we embrace the contemporary imperative of acquiring knowledge through diverse approaches and different ways of thinking, encouraging every reader and contributor to know themselves better through the mirror of scholarship.
